About Us

Protecting Iraq's environment, clearing the remnants of war.

Established in 2023, HALY is a Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to protecting the environment through initiatives and sustainable practices that preserve natural resources and promote ecological awareness. Protecting both the built and natural environment is a two-way task — we must protect nature from human activity, and protect communities from environmental hazards.

We specialize in the removal of landmines, clearance of explosive remnants of war (ERW), and the disposal of unexploded ordnance (UXO) and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Our operations comply with International and National Mine Action Standards (IMAS/NMAS) to ensure the highest levels of safety and efficiency. HALY has imported all necessary equipment and offers technical advisory services in mine action to help ensure compliance with professional standards — with zero incidents and zero accidents as our main objective.

Registration & Accreditation

HALY Org. is registered in the Republic of Iraq and accredited by the Directorate of Mine Action (DMA) in Baghdad to conduct mine action activities, with registration and accreditation documents on file.
